AUSTRALIAN KABUKI SYNDROME ASSOCIATION INC.

MEMBERSHIP

Why Join:

Membership provides the opportunity to support persons with Kabuki syndrome and their family.
Membership is open to all persons and organizations interested in the enhancement of the welling of the persons with the condition of Kabuki syndrome.
It provides a venue to share interest/commitment to the welfare of Kabuki persons.
As many of these families are isolated, and not able to have personal contact with another Kabuki family, the Association’s main aim is to help provide communication by way of a National Family Day and on-line.
Membership will help promote the awareness, in the community, of this rare and little known condition.

Conditions of membership:

The membership is governed by the rules of the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 and the Australian Kabuki Syndrome Association’s Constitution.
Application for membership must be in writing on the approved application form.
Applications will be received by the Management Committee for acceptance for registration.
A separate form is required for each person seeking membership. Membership is not transferable to another person.
The membership financial year is from the 1st January to the 31st December. Members who have not renewed their membership by he 31st March in the following year will be deemed non financial. They will lose their right to vote, hold office and the Associations entitlements.
The membership for persons joining after September will carry through to the end of the following year.
