The Association is a not for profit charitable organization, supporting persons with the condition of Kabuki syndrome and their family.
Our aim is to provide a line of communication and personal contact, particularly to the families whose child is newly diagnosed with the condition.
The Association’s National Family Day is our main focus in bringing the families together from across Australia. An education forum, on a second day, has been included at this time.
Many of the persons with the condition of Kabuki syndrome, and their Family, had never met another person with this condition until National Family Days had been organized.
There are approximately 30 known families within Australia, some isolated without personal contact with another family. To be able to give support to each other, share experiences and have social contact the National Family Day and Education Forum is an important event to attend.
Through the generosity of donations the Association can support this much valued event.
